2 States currently the second highest grosser of 2014 is performing extremely well at the box office. The film continued to add more moolah in its kitty even on its 2nd Tuesday at the Domestic Box Office. Interestingly, it raked in 2.55 crores yesterday, which is slightly higher than its 2nd Monday collections.
2 States now stands with an amazing figure of 80.90 crores at the domestic box office. The film starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles, has been on a roll since its release. It has continued with its upbeat collections since the opening day and mainly after having a smashing first weekend.

2 States managed to surpass the collections of films like Queen and Gunday quite easily which had acquired top slots. The urban centric film, with a inter-caste romance twist, wooed the audiences well.

Already the second highest grosser, 2 States seems to have long way ahead and a good performance on the third weekend could get this film closer to the top slot and compete with Salman Khan’s Jai Ho.
