Yesterday turned another upsetting day when veteran actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last at the age of 67. Neetu Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Alia Bhatt were amongst the few present during the last rites. While daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni could not attend the funeral as she was stuck in Delhi, son Ranbir Kapoor was completely devastated.

Amidst the unfortunate incident, now a speech of Ranbir Kapoor from last year is going viral when the actor can be seen speaking about his father’s battle with cancer. It all happened last year during the Zee Cine award function, where the actor was awarded ‘Best Actor’ for his portrayal in Sanju. While his PDA with Alia Bhatt before receiving the award took the internet by storm, it was his speech on late actor Rishi Kapoor that left people in tears.

“My father is going through a little bit of a rough patch in his life. I’ve often heard when you come into some kind of crossroads in life you can really tell who you are as a person and what you are. Very often, when I meet him or whenever I talk to him, he only talks about movies,” the actor could be heard saying.
