Sonam K Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan, who will be seen in The Zoya Factor for the first time, share a great camaraderie off-camera as well. During the shoot of the film, the two got close and became really good friends. But it was not just Sonam but her hubby Anand Ahuja, who also got acquainted with Dulquer during the shoot.

During an interview, Dulquer revealed that the two boys spent a lot of time together during the shoot and their friendship grew to a point where they had a WhatsApp group as well. He told Zoom, “Anand and I have a pretty relaxed sort of vibes. Anand and I got to hang out during the shoot… he is such a guy’s guy. He is genuinely very warm. He is very kind and easy to speak to. Even when he comes on sets, he is happy and has no issues hanging around. We made a WhatsApp group too.”

Responding to this, Sonam immediately added that they had removed her from the Whatsapp group. Dulquer then explained the reason, and said, “We threw her out because we had boys stuff to discuss. Sneakers, cars and all these things that boys do.”

Talking about their film, it is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel by the same name. The film will revolve around the life of Zoya Solanki and the events that take place after she starts being considered as the lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film will hit the theatres on September 20.
