Some sequels just have to happen. Take for instance, Ishqiya 2, which was announced at a private party last week in Mumbai. While the original film, Ishqiya, did average business at the box-office, it was critically acclaimed and won Vidya Balan awards for her classy performance as a rural seductress.

According to reports, the script of ‘Ishqiya 2’ is being written as of now but the casting of the film has not been finalized yet. Of course, Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi are all set to join the cast as they were present at the party where the announcement was made. Will any more stars join the cast? That remains to be seen.
