The best part of Star Guild Awards 2014 was the repeat of Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan episode. Though the former always maintains Shah Rukh was a friend, he has definitely warmed up to him a little more lately. But what made the starry event even better was the gorgeous quotient that kept soaring with one entrant after another on the red carpet looking sizzling. Koimoi puts together for you the best dressed stars of the evening.
Though we praised her dressing for the Screen Awards excessively, this time she couldn’t impress as much. Looking absolutely hot no doubt, her attire wasn’t befitting the night. Donning a Shehla Khan, black and blue lace lehenga, her accessories looked better than her clothes!
You wouldn’t expect Bebo to turn up looking novueau riche, would you? But the overtly blingy and extra jazzy Namrata Joshipura gown wasn’t the winning dress either. We won’t call it outrageous, but definitely not on the better side.
While everyone sported flashy western gown, Jacqueline impressed with the desi look. Dressed in the Anand Kabra, white and gold saree, her jacket blouse made her look very elegant. A Corto Moltedo clutch in her hands suited the look and feel of it too. If there was a pick for the evening’s best dressed, Jacqueline wins it hands down!
Well, the newbie whose looks had the whole country going gaga wasn’t dressed in her best attire either. Sporting a white embellished Donna Karen gown with a trail, she looked extremely stiff in it. Fashion is best suited when there is comfort.
Once again, the Bong Beauty was dressed to kill. In a Binal Shah saree with fantastic earnings, Basu was dressed simply and yet looked stunning.
Dressed in a black Rachel Roy jumpsuit, Sonakshi looked average. Since the actress was dressed with such a flair in the Screen Awards, this one was a damp show relatively.
Quite a bold dressing we must say! Dressed in a chiffon black gown by Gauri and Nainika, the Amrapali earrings did the magic for her.
The new YRF find is in tinsel town for a reason. Her smoky eyed look was bewitching. Dressed in a Nikhil Thampi gown, the gorgeous made eyes turn with her stunning looks.
While most men wear the usual Black tux, I don’t think it is required to count the group of clones in our list. But standing out this time amongst the list was Ranveer dressed in his Gucci suit and Dior Shoes. The bow-tie was flattering. Also Arjun’s Burberry suit was hard to miss in the lot.
