The popular television comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved television serials. This time taking the fun to another level, the show has now become the first Indian daily show to take its story to Disneyland, Hong Kong.
The show’s producer, Asit Kumar Modi said, “Taking the show to Disneyland was a planned move. We have family audience and everybody wonders about this place – how it is, what kind of rides are there, how much fun one can have, its visual delight and entertainment treat – all the while. So, we decided to give them a clear experience through their favorite characters. We are showing everything in details. This story line will last for some time so that the viewers can enjoy this place in details.”
The story has been built in a manner that when children of Gokuldham society take part in a competition, they win a trip to Disneyland. While the entire cast had a blast shooting in Hong Kong, the serial’s lead actor Dilip Joshi said , “We had lots of fun. It was a perfect change for everybody and there was a new life in all the actors. Hope Asit ji will do this regularly.” Also the lovable character Daya said, “Hay ma maataji….. itna maza aaya..the HongKong shoot has been a picnic for us stress-busting and refreshing and we enjoyed lot.”
