Taapsee Pannu has undoubtedly carved a niche for herself in the industry with some hard-hitting performance with films like Badla, Pink, Naam Shabana and more recently with Thappad. The film was thoroughly appreciated by industry folks and critics alike.

While most actors would want to grab the appreciation showered on them with both hands, Taapsee has a rather different take. Opening up about all the love and applause coming her way, Pannu has said, “It’s scary when critics declare you are in top form after every film. Where do you go from there? The graph should always keep climbing because once you reach the top, you have nowhere to go except down. Praise can go to your head, though mine is firmly placed on my shoulders.”

Further opening up about the certain section of netizens who brutally trolled Thappad and even called for its ban, Taapsee told Mumbai Mirror, “Twitter is a war-zone, when you try answering the trolls, they manipulate your words and give everything a political turn, making things controversial. Then, they will ask for your film to be banned. When it works despite them, they are enraged.”

Meanwhile, it won’t be wrong to say that Taapsee Pannu is currently one of the busiest actresses of the newer lot with a slew of interesting films in her kitty. She has Haseen Dillruba, Looop Lapeta, Rashmi Rocket and Shabash Mithu and Anurag Kashyap‘s supernatural thriller. She also has a Tamil thriller titled, Jana Gana Mana.
