Every day, we get to know something new about the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Now Rhea Chakraborty has made some startling revelations about her ex-boyfriend. The actress talked about the late actor’s mental health during their trip to Florence, Italy.
The Jalebi actress revealed that it was during their trip to Europe in 2019, SSR’s mental health started getting affected. It was then Rhea allegedly witnessed the signs of mental illness in the Dil Bechara actor. The reason for the same was a painting!

As reported by India today, Rhea Chakraborty said that she, Sushant Singh Rajput and brother Showik Chakraborty were together during the trip. The trio reportedly stayed at a 600-year old heritage hotel. The hotel had lots of old paintings on the walls. As told by the actress, SSR hallucinated after seeing a painting of Saturn devouring his child.
Rhea Chakraborty shared that after looking at the painting, Sushant Singh Rajput was visibly shaken. He started chanting some mantra when he returned to the room. She said that SSR told her and Showik that he could see the characters from the painting, but he was failing to describe them. That night, both the Chakraborty siblings slept in his room. She also tried to console him as according to her statement, he was having hallucinations due to the painting. They even went to a detox centre in Austria after that. However, the Dil Bechara actor left as he wasn’t feeling well.

The trio had to cut their trip short due to this. They returned to India on October 28 while their trip was supposed to end on November 2, 2019.

Talking about the painting that left Sushant Singh Rajput shaken, it is titled as -Saturn Devouring His Son resides in Museo del Prado, Madrid. It is painted by a Spanish artist named Francisco Goya. The painting is about the Greek myth of Titak Cronus who feared that he would be overthrown by one of his sons. So he ate each one of them upon their birth. Take a look at the painting below:
