SRK To Shoot ‘Happy New Year’ In A Plush Dubai Resort

Shah Rukh Khan frequently allows himself a Dubai trip, and this time too he has booked a large part of one of Dubai’s most posh and plush resorts, but for work. The booking made by him that spans for over a month will be used to shoot a couple of important scenes of his upcoming venture Happy New Year.

The shooting for the film is scheduled to start sometime in early August. The film has been at its pre-production work for a while now.

Director Farah Khan and SRK after a long stretched rivalry finally managed to patch up their differences, apparently with a little help from Gauri Khan and Karan Johar and started working together for this film.

Farah is still working on to finalize the film’s leading lady. The crew is working hard however on selecting proper locales as per the demands of the film’s script. This particular Dubai based underwater resort will be the venue of a crucial sequence in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan governs a great degree of power in Dubai by which he has great many contacts in Dubai. SRK has made the property exclusive to the team of Happy New Year for uninterrupted work for the cast and crew of the film.
