Sanjay Gupta is back in action after a long hiatus. He is all set to launch his second film in the Shootout series – Shootout At Wadala. And like Shootout At Lokhandwala, the new film will also be produced by Sanjay Gupta and Ekta Kapoor jointly. Gupta himself will be directing SAW. Anil Kapoor and John Abraham have already been finalised to play two lead roles in the multi-starrer about the very first police encounter in Bombay. Among the others who are being considered to play leading roles in this film about the encounter killing of gangster Manya Surve are Nana Patekar, Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh and Mahie Gill.
Gupta, who invariably cuts his trailers even before he starts shooting a film, has made an interesting and exciting trailer this time too. Unlike many other producers, who hold a screening of their trailers in a cinema hall or preview theatre, Gupta kept one (August 9) at his bungalow which houses a preview theatre. Needless to add, only a select few among the media were invited to see the trailer of what Ekta described as “India’s first prequel movie”.
