After Salman Khan’s conviction in the 2002 hit and run case, the actor had filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court. The court ordered a speedy completion of case papers and has deferred the case till July 1.

Salman’s counsel Amit Desai informed him that the ‘paper book’ with all the detailed grounds of appeal were yet incomplete. Public Prosecutor SS Shinde appeared and consented to a date fixed for the next hearing and hence the court deferred it to next month.
The actor has challenged the findings that he was driving drunk and also the conviction for culpable homicide.
