In a hearing held at the Mumbai court yesterday, Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case took a new turn. D.K. Balashanker, from the Sir J.J. Hospital forensic lab, was present in court yesterday and confirmed that a high alcohol content was found in Salman’s blood that night.
According to him, the Morpholoin test conducted was positive and 62 mg ethyl alcohol was found in Salman Khan’s blood which is double the amount permitted.
Earlier, Salman was identified to be in the driver’s seat of the four-wheeler that rammed into a pavement killing one and injuring four others when he left a suburban hotel accompanied with his friends in 2002.
With the recent turn of events, the case is still sub-judice and the next hearing will be bringing some more evidence to the fore.
