Salim Khan may have delivered straight hits at the box-office with his blockbuster scripts, but he hasn’t forgotten his roots. “I signed my first film as an actor for Rs. 2000,” he explains as he goes on about how he has returned signing amounts to people in an industry where people forget faces and names when it comes to money. “I don’t owe money to anyone,” he shrugs and almost philosophically adds, “Lots of people don’t realize the happiness of giving.”
