Ranbir-Katrina To Play Lovers In Imtiaz Ali’s Next?

Much has already been spoken about the alleged deep relationship between Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. Miffed ex-boyfriend Salman Khan’s apparent dislike for the younger Kapoor, and Ranbir-Katrina spending time together in New York have been doing rounds in the tabloids pretty frequently in the last couple of months. But going by the latest buzz, ‘the just good friends’ Ranbir and Katrina will be sharing screen space for Sajid Nadiadwala’s next venture.

Katrina and Ranbir, were previously seen together in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti. However, the audiences got a better view of the on screen jodi in their limited stint in Raajneeti which released in 2010.

The film will be directed by Imtiaz Ali. Imtiaz and Ranbir had previously worked together in Rockstar which was well received by both critics and audiences. Imtiaz Ali who has an impeccable record of directing fabulous love stories with films like Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, is quite keen on signing Ranbir and Katrina for his next. Rumor has it that the film will see the duo playing lovers.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala however rejected the news and said that the film’s leading lady hasn’t been decided yet. But sources inform that Katrina Kaif is very much a part of the project.

Though there is absolutely no confirmed news of Ranbir-Katrina reigniting on screen, we sincerely hope we get to see this lovely ‘on screen’ couple working together again.
