Ranbir Kapoor REFUSES To Meet Alia Bhatt On Gangubai Kathiawadi Sets; Is It Because Of Fallout With Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been going strong in their relationship for quite a while now. However, what has struck their fans odd is the fact that Ranbir Kapoor has not even once visited the sets of his lady love’s upcoming release, Gangubai Kathiawadi, being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While the industry rumour mill began soon buzzing with possibilities of a fallout between the duo, there seems to be no truth to these rumours.

Reports have been going around that the only reason why Ranbir has not visited the sets of Gangubai is his massive fallout with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali that happened during Ranbir’s debut Saawariya. Shunning all reports of a fallout between Alia and Ranbir, a certain source has revealed to Bollywood Hungama saying, “Ranbir wants to avoid coming face to face with Alia Bhatt’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali at any cost. SLB and Ranbir had a massive fall-out when Ranbir made his debut in Bhansali’s Saawariya. Things got so bad between them that Ranbir vowed to never work with Bhansali again. And he kept his word.”

While there were also rumours about Ranbir being offered a part in Gangubai Kathiawadi alongside Alia which he refused to accept. The source further said, “No matter what, Ranbir Kapoor won’t work with Bhansali even if he is offered the best role in the world. He wants to stay away from Bhansali. This is the real reason he avoids going to Alia on the sets of Gangubai Kathiawadi.”

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen alongside Alia Bhatt in the Ayan Mukerji directed Brahmastra. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. While Ranbir also has Shamshera in the making, Alia Bhatt has a slew of projects including Sadak 2, Takht and RRR in the making.
