It was yesterday that the makers of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra announced the new release date. While the film has been in the shooting stage for the longest time, now the grapevine has that the lead pair will be wrapping up the film in Mumbai soon and below is all you need to know.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the Dharma film has been in the pipeline for almost two years now. Yesterday the makers announced the film will release on December 4, 2020. As per the reports in Mumbai Mirror today, the team will now shoot for the final schedule in Mumbai and do some patchwork. They will be shooting for some romantic scenes as well.
A source close to the development said, “The team will shoot some romantic scenes with RK and Alia and complete some patchwork with the rest of the cast.”
The team will be kick-starting the final schedule next month and will be shooting for 20 days.
“It’s an ambitious film for Ayan as the visual effects are not limited to the action sequences. Even the real shooting locations will be enhanced with VFX, which is why the film has taken longer than expected,” the source added
Talking about the new release date the source revealed, “The new date was announced keeping in mind the time required for the finishing touches. There will be no delay in the release now,” the source further added.
The film will stars Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia apart from the three leads. The film will also have a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
