Ranbir-Anushka To Have A Hindu-Muslim Love Story In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Karan Johar recently confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s characters will have a Hindu-Muslim romance. He stated that Ranbir’s character Aayan (a Hindu boy) will be falling in love with Anushka’s character Alizeh (a Muslim girl).

While giving a talk on Indian cinema at the Harvard Kennedy School, the director was asked on why Bollywood is dominated by Hindu characters and very less representation of Muslim characters is seen.

Replying to the same, Karan confirmed that his upcoming film itself will have a Hindu-Muslim romance, without any conflict.
