Bhojpuri actor Raja Chaudhary was arrested last night for allegedly obtaining a SIM card using forged documents. The police said Chaudhary had obtained the SIM card under his name but had provided the address of Mehul Kansaria, 34, a resident of Oshiwara. As a result, Kansaria had received Raja’s mobile bills for January and February 2011.
Kansaria had filed a complaint with the police alleging that Raja had wrongfully given his address. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case of cheating and forgery against Chaudhary following which he was arrested. Raja didn’t get Mehul’s address as fluke as he used to frequent Mehul’s building regularly to visit his friend Shraddha Sharma.
Raja Chaudhary has had previous altercations with the law. He was arrested in January for assaulting his ex-wife Shweta Tiwari.
