She is none other than Priyanka Chopra, who has added a new feather to her cap this year with her raging International Debut single In My City which has spread like a wildfire and is on every lip. And now in her kitty is the first award for the year; Best Actress Award, for her scintillating and convincing performance as Jhilmil, the autistic girl in Barfi!.
Her movies this year had been received tremendous positive response by one and all and both Agneepath and Barfi!, made their way to the illustrious 100 crore club.
Priyanka’s portrayal as Jhilmil in Anurag Basu’s Barfi!, starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has been mind-boggling and emphatically applauded by all. She infused life into the character she firmly believed in and with her natural flair won hearts. She has set new acting parameters for herself after such awe-inspiring performances.
Now with her opening the innings of Awards this year with Reliance Big Star Entertainment Awards, many more are expected to be lined in her way when the Awards Season just begins with rollicking fun and gets kicking off the series.
