Plot: Inspired by the epic, Mahabharata, the film is about warring cousins hungry for power. It deals with electoral politics. Arjun and Ranbir are real brothers while Manoj Bajpai is their cousin. The candidature of Ajay Devgan, a Dalit boy, is supported by Manoj and opposed by Arjun. It turns out that Ajay is the brother of Arjun and Ranbir. Katrina loves Ranbir who loves a foreigner, Sarah Thompson. Nana Patekar is the chief advisor to Arjun and Ranbir.
Expectations: The trailers and the huge star cast have done the trick. The film is quite eagerly awaited. But, quite surprisingly, the advance booking has not been very strong. The film looks like it would find more patronage in the Hindi-speaking belt like U.P. and Bihar. It seems to have more for the older generation rather than the youngsters.
