Preity Zinta, who has lodged a complaint against former boyfriend Ness Wadia in June, recently met Mumbai Police Chief Rakesh Maria and listed witnesses in the case, after she returned to Mumbai from the US as she was called by Mumbai Police to record a supplementary statement.
After filing a complaint in June, Zinta had moved to US for professional reasons and was called down by Mumbai police to record her statement.
According to her statement, there are two foreign nationals who are witnesses in the case. One of them being Gene Goodenough, the two have emailed their statements. The Mumbai Police Chief informed a popular daily that Zinta has stated three incidents of molestation and abuse that took place. One during the IPL team selection in Bangalore and twice at the Wankhede Stadium.
The police will be verifying the witnesses statements and only then there will be any further development in the case.
