Bollywood actress Preity Zinta’s former boy friend and Industrialist Ness Wadia provided a list of 9 witnesses, who were present on May 30 at the Wankhede Stadium. Wadia claimed that Preity’s complaint of “abuse” is completely false and baseless.
“We believe these people who were present would be able to provide independent and truthful facts about the events that took place at the stadium that evening, with regard to the false complaint filed by Preity Zinta against me,” Wadia said in his letter to the investigating officers.
While Preity Zinta has submitted a list of 14 witnesses, many of whom have already been questioned by police, Wadia’s list has names of six women and three men who were present during the Kings XI Punjab versus Chennai Super Kings match when the alleged incident took place.

Mumbai Police are contemplating calling Wadia this week to record his statement in the case lodged by Preity Zinta on June 12, accusing him of abusing her publicly and manhandling her.
