While we had earlier reported that Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra will be working together in Karan Malhotra’s next which was initially titled Warrior, according to a official statement by Dharma Productions, the film is all set to be release on 2nd October, 2015.
Now titled Brothers, the film will also star Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff. The film will be produced by Dharma Productions and Lionsgate, Endemol India.
Interestingly, this will be Sidharth’s third film with the Dharma banner after his debut Student of The Year and Hasee Toh Phasee. Brothers film is a remake of the Hollywood flick Warrior starring actors Tom Hardy and Joel Edgarton.

In the meanwhile, director Karan Malhotra’s next release however is the much-talked about film Shuddhi which stars Salman Khan in the lead. Looks like, Karan Johar is making sure to work with actors with whom he has a new found friendship after they appeared on his show ‘Koffee With Karan’ considering that he will now be working with Akshay and Salman.
