After the lockdown was announced following the Coronavirus outbreak, everyone was stuck wherever they were. Majority with their families but some alone. Mr. India director Shekhar Kapur happens to be one such who is stranded on an unknown location far away from the country and is now worried as to what might happen if he falls sick and below are all the details you would want to know about the same.

As per reports, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is stranded in a faraway location where there is little internet. The filmmaker himself confirmed the same and also has a message for the people in India.

Shekhar Kapur in a report in Bollywood Hungama has been quoted saying, “I am locked down in a place where there is very little internet and connectivity. However, I do get news on my phone intermittently. It’s painful. But I’ve little to complain about. Compared to so many of my countrymen. I am relatively well feed and have a roof above my head.”

The filmmaker further opened up on his fear that what happens when he falls sick. He said, “What if I fall sick? I am a 12-hour drive from serious medical help, that’s if I can even find someone to drive me. It’s a sobering thought. But what do I do? Where do I go? If I had to move, there is absolutely nowhere I could go.”

He also spoke about how this pandemic is a tight slap on our civilization and a reminder of how ignorant we have been throughout these years. He advices people to be humans and practice humility. He stretched on the fact that if this phase does not teach you humility nothing ever will.
