Film production banner KriArj Entertainment on Saturday said it will move the Bombay High Court to reinforce its right on the film Kedarnath.
The movie was being jointly made by KriArj Entertainment, T-Series, Balaji Motion Pictures and director Abhishek Kapoor’s Guy In The Sky Pictures (GITS).

However, they have had a fallout. While KriArj Entertainment representatives have blamed Kapoor’s unprofessional behaviour and mismanagement as the reason for a constant delay in the movie, Kapoor’s representative has said there was lack of transparency in KriArj Entertainment’s financial dealings.

The current imbroglio between KriArj and Abhishek could not just prove costly, but even jeopardize the career of Sara Ali Khan, who makes her debut with Sushant Singh Rajput.

But now according to a report in BollywoodLife, the producer of KriArj Entertainment Prernaa Arora spoke about resolving this issue with the director, she said, “We are taking the legal route through the High Court. We might end up resolving the issue and making the film. So it’s too early to comment on this! Kedarnath is ours.” When asked about Sushant Singh Rajput leaving the project, she replied, “Sushant is the hero of the film. He is there until Kedarnath is!”
In the press conference, the producer also revealed that KRiArj has done a five-film deal with Akshay Kumar, she said, “He’s our everything. We have a five-film deal with Akshay. We are doing a film with him soon. But when sir is ready, we will announce it.”
The co-producer of KriArj Arjun N Kapoor said, “Akshay Kumar is our lucky mascot. He’s been with us all the way and we hope it stays that way always.”
Kedarnath had been in news since the start as it is to mark the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, who is cast opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
