Today, the teaser of Maqbool Khan’s Khaali Peeli was shared on social media. The film stars Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday in lead roles. This is the first time the duo has been paired together and fans are excited to see their chemistry on screen.
In the film, Ishaan essays the role of a taxi driver while Ananya plays a dancer. It gives viewers a view of a rat and cat chase in Mumbai.
The teaser of Khaali Peeli gives a glimpse into the life of the taxi driver aka Ishaan Khatter, who is recently out of jail. From the looks of it, he lands in trouble again when an ordinary passenger gets into his life with gold and a gun. There is a bucket full of action in Khaali Peeli. Talking about their looks, Ishaan flaunts a rugged look, something we haven’t seen on him earlier. On the other hand, Ananya looks beautiful and dangerous at the same time.
Khaali Peeli also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Satish Kaushik in a pivotal role. The film’s release date has not been revealed, but it may head to OTT soon. It is produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar and Zee Studios production.
On the work front, Ishaan Khatter, who debuted with Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds was last seen in Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy. Ananya Panday, who stepped in Bollywood with Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2, last featured in Mudassar Aziz’ Pati Patni Aur Woh.
