Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor had filed for divorce from her husband last year on grounds of mutual consent. But yesterday, the actress decided to withdraw her consent to the petition.
In the application which was presented before the family court, Karisma stated that she was withdrawing her consent since Sunjay (her husband) was not able to comply with financial commitments which were mentioned in the terms of the consent signed by them.
Karisma’s lawyer, Kranti Sathe said that the petition didn’t formalize on Wednesday. They have filed an application to withdraw the consent. Their stand is that there is no compliance from Sunjay’s side and therefore they want to withdraw. Both the parties will be present before the court on Friday.
