Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Charity Fund Raiser ‘Baradari India’ Finds Its First Shopper In Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez has emerged as the first shopper at Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fashion fundraiser, in support of weavers. As soon as Jacqueline heard about the Baradari India charity project she called up one of the organizers and committed to making a purchase, making her the sale’s first shopper on National Handloom Day, August 7.

Jacqueline Fernandez picked up a gorgeous yellow jumpsuit by Ruchika Sachdeva’s Bodice.

Initiated by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Baradari is a charity initiative to raise funds to support artisans – weavers and embroider communities across India and for the first time ever as it brings together 108 ace Indian fashion designers for the fundraiser. Sabyasachi, Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Rahul Mishra, Raw Mango, Bodice, Ekaya, Eka, 11.11 by Himanshu Shani, Rimzhim Dadu, Karan Torani, Monisha Jaising and Masaba are among 100-plus names who have donated their signature clothes for an ecommerce sale to raise money for their artisan brothers, their ‘baradari’. The sale takes place online and goes live on 7th August running till 15th August.
