Pakistan Government recently banned all Indian movies in their country as retaliation to PM Narendra Modi and his government’s decision of revoking Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir. Amidst all the situations, Mika Singh was spotted performing at former Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf’s relatives wedding in Lahore. Now, as a result of that, All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has boycotted and banned the singer from the industry.
It all happened last night when the cine workers decided to protest Mika’s action. AICWA also issued a press release regarding the ban on Mika Singh. It reads, “AICWA bans and boycott singer Mika Singh from the Indian film industry for performing at a high profile event at Karachi dated August 8, 2019.”
“AICWA takes a tough stand of immediately boycotting all his association with movie production houses, music companies and online music content providers.
