Navya Naveli Nanda is back with the second season of What The Hell Navya! In Episode 2, she discussed the concept of modern dating with her mother, Shweta Bachchan, and grandmother Jaya Bachchan. In the latest episode, the trio and Agastya Nanda spoke about modern-day feminism and machoism.
Jaya Bachchan says women should let men pay their bills!
Jaya Bachchan was left stunned when she learned women these days don’t like men paying their bills or opening the doors for them. She reacted, “How stupid of those women. You should let the men pay.” Later in the episode, Amitabh Bachchan’s wife also confessed she would never be comfortable proposing to men, unlike women these days.
Navya Naveli Nanda later delved into the subject of mental health. To which Jaya added, “I hear more people talking about depression. Another thing people are now saying is, ‘I’m mentally exhausted.'” Shweta Bachchan interrupted, “Not people, you are saying it all the time. I’m mentally exhausted. That means leave me alone.”

Navya Naveli Nanda was speechless as her mother opposed her grandmother. She reacted, “Guts!” Jaya Bachchan visibly got pissed and decided to keep quiet for the remaining session. “Okay, shut me down,” she slammed.
Shweta responded, “No no, who am I to shut you down? You must speak.” Navya got into damage-control mode as she spoke in favor of her nani, and her mother could be visibly seen calling her out for that. They then persuaded Mrs Bachchan to speak.
“No, it’s okay. It’s finished. I’ve done it. I’ve said what I had to say,” Jaya Bachchan added. She lost her calm as Navya Naveli Nanda laughed and blasted, “Are you discussing seriously, or are you in a mood to make fun? huh?”
