Deepika Padukone has been in the news lately for playing Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter yet again after Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan in Piku. The film, that will be directed by Shoojit Sircar, mainly revolves around the father-daughter relationship. However, until now there was very little divulged about her male lead.
Well, buzz is that Irrfan Khan is being approached to play the male lead opposite Deepika. Nothing has been confirmed by the makers officially, however, if the news comes out to be true, this will be the first time the duo will share screen space.
Irrfan is known for his acting prowess and has also bagged international projects in his kitty. Although there has been no confirmation on the casting of the male lead yet, casting Irrfan could be an interesting mix!
