Hrithik Roshan seems to have got the perfect post-birthday gift! As we had reported earlier, the Bollywood heartthrob unveiled his wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in London. Hrithik is the fifth Bollywood star to have his figure at the museum after Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The green-eyed star’s statue is inspired from his bare-chested look in Dhoom 2 complete with a peach coloured unbuttoned vest and jeans. “I never thought in my wildest of dreams that there will be a time in my life when I’ll be unveiling my own statue at the Madame Tussauds. I remember once I’ve stood there in the line for three hours when I was a 12-year-old to see the museum,” said the 37-year-old actor. “It’s going to be something that will motivate me when I’m tired. I’ll think of this statue and it will make be keep going and giving my best. It makes me feel great and will help me fight my exhaustion,” he added.
Hrithik Roshan was accompanied by his entire family for the prestigious unveiling with father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky, grandfather J. Om Prakash, wife Suzanne and their two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan Roshan.
“As a child had stood for hours in line 25 years ago outside Madame Tussauds with my grandfather! He says he’s feeling just like that excited child today. I got a feeling its going to be a good day,” the actor tweeted.
