Years ago, composer duo Nadeem-Shravan had composed the iconic number ‘dheere dheere se’ for the film ‘Aashiqui’, a number that proved to still be the current most popular No. 1 hit when it was remixed by Honey Singh and featured Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor. In 1990 when the album of ‘ashiqui’ had released, more than 200 million cassettes and CDs were sold. Nadeem’s magical touch continues even today with the current remix version of “dheere dheere se” crossing 51 million hits on YouTube.
Now, after a hiatus of ten years, Nadeem will be seen making a comeback to Bollywood for the upcoming love story ‘Ishq Forever’, directed by Sameer Sippy and starring Krishna Chaturvedi, Ruhi Singh, Lisa Ray, Jaaved Jafferi and others. For those who do not know this, Nadeem Saifi has a record of 1000 (thousand) back-to-back super hit songs and the composer promises to recreate his magic for his comeback film too.
When contacted, Nadeem said, “I have created this music for everyone to fall in love once again and I am sure that the music of ‘Ishq Forever’ will be forever etched in the minds and hearts of all those who hear it. We have seven songs in the film and the music has been composed keeping the youth in mind.”
Producer Shabeer adds, “I have been a huge fan of Nadeem who has always been the luck factor for many debutants. He has composed super hit tracks for the debut of Shahrukh Khan (Deewana), Ajay Devgan (Phool Aur Pathar), Rahul Roy (Aashiqui), Bobby Deol (Barsaat) and many others. I’m sure he will be lucky once again for Krishna too who is debuting in our film and I believe he has huge potential.”
‘Ishq Forever’ is a love story in the tradition of ‘It Happened One Night’, ‘Jab we Met’ and ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi’ where the boy and the girl meet on a journey that changes their lives forever.
Produced by Ajay Shah, Himanshu Gandhi and Shabeer Boxwala under the banner Friday Cine Entertainment, the film is slated to release on 15th January, 2016.
