Pankaj Tripathi & Janhvi Kapoor’s bond as father-daughter in recently released Gunjan Saxena has been loved by many. It was refreshing to see how Gunjan Saxena’s father supported her against all the odds. It won’t be wrong to say that Pankaj Tripathi’s role and his performance has inspired so many people.
In a recent fun video by Netflix India, Pankaj Tripathi and Janhvi Kapoor can be seen bonding over millennial lingo. We have all seen Pankaj acing the role of ‘Guruji’ in Sacred Games but in this video, Janhvi turns Guruji for him and teaches him the modern language.
So as Janhvi Kapoor starts teaching Pankaj Kapoor about words like “Bruh, Lit, Bye Felicia etc, the actor feels confused. He, in fact, compares trolls with ‘Roothe huye rishtedaar’. But that’s not it!
Janhvi Kapoor tells Pankaj Kapoor how Gucci is a synonym to Good and then he hilariously tells how shooting for Gunjan Saxena was Gucci. LOL!

Earlier talking about Gunjan Saxena and how the film promotes gender equality, Pankaj Tripathi said, “There was this beautiful line in the film that said — Plane ladka udaaye ya ladki… dono ko pilot hi kehte hain’. In a beautiful simple line, the film and its story simply smashed years of set gender roles. Being a father to a daughter myself, the story shifted something within me. I want more fathers to be like Anuj Saxena (his character) and more daughters to be like Gunjan,”
Directed by Sharan Sharma, Gunjan Saxena also stars Angad Bedi, Manav Vij & Vineet Kumar Singh in main roles. The film is streaming on Netflix since August 12.
