Gangubai Kathiawadi: Not Just Deepika Padukone But Ranbir Kapoor Might Also Make A Cameo In This Alia Bhatt Film

Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has become a hotbed for headlines. The newest update is that the film might not only get Deepika in a cameo but might also have Ranbir Kapoor playing a part in it and fans cannot contain their excitement already.

It was only yesterday when the news that Deepika is being approached for doing a pivotal appearance in SLB’s ambitious gangster drama came out. Today grapevine has that not just Deepika but Ranbir has also been approached for the same and the film might get the interesting trio in Deepika, Ranbir and Alia together.

A source spilling the bean to Pinkvilla, said, “Bhansali has reached out to Deepika Padukone to play an interesting cameo in Gangubai but nothing has been finalised as yet. The team has also reached out to Ranbir Kapoor and are in talks but there has been no confirmation on the same from his end too.”

For the unversed, there are also strong reports that SLB’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor Ajay Devgn is also collaborating with him for Gangubai Kathiawadi and that makes it three special character and appearances.

If this plan comes to life it will be interesting to see an ensemble of all leading actors in a magnum opus set up that the director is known for.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is set to release next year and we have also read that the director is leaving no stone unturned to make the magnum opus a hit.
