Though Alia Bhatt has repeatedly emphasized on her sorrow that her father will never direct her in a film, it seems the Senior Bhatt has been bitten by the acting bug. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt unveiled on Twitter the first look of his film Siddhartha. The venture is being directed by Mukul Misra and has the acclaimed filmmaker playing the role of Lama in the film.
Playing the role of Siddhartha is Shivam Bhargav and actress Shazahn Padamasee will be playing the lead lady in the film. Though the reports on who is playing the titular role isn’t confirmed yet, it will all be out in the open once the lead actors begin shooting for the film.
Mahesh Bhatt, meanwhile, took to Twitter to unveil his first look from the film. He Tweeted, “Life is pain! Do not ask why it is so? It is so!” And then he continued with the tweet, “Stepping into the frame of silence.”
