Farhan Akhtar, who was supposed to be working with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, has pulled out of the acting role due to his date issues. The director-turned-actor won’t to act opposite SRK now, confirmed an insider. Apparently, his next project with Bejoy Nambiar had a clash of dates with Raees.
However, since the film is being produced by Excel Entertainment, Farhan’s association with the film is still intact. Confirming the news, the director of the film, Rahul Dholakia tweeted, “He is very much a part of Raees – as a producer, creative inspiration and a friend.”
Raees is all set to go the floors in 2014 and is lined for a Eid 2015 release.
