Deepika Padukone With JNU: Milind Deora Calls Her ‘Better Than Being A Fence Sitter’, Also Comments On Akshay Kumar Waving ABVP Flag

The decision of Deepika Padukone visiting JNU yesterday has divided the social media having different ideologies. She has been getting a lot of bashes but there are many people who are supporting her too. From Swara Bhasker, Anurag Kashyap to Richa Chadha and Milind Deora, there are celebs and politicians coming out in her support.

Recently, Milind Deora tweeted about Deepika Padukone as well as Akshay Kumar who was seen waiving ABVP flag back in 2018. He posted, “@deepikapadukone doesn’t owe anyone an explanation for her decision to visit #JNU. Neither does @akshaykumar for waving an ABVP flag. Entertainers, like the rest of us, are entitled to their opinions & are free to choose sides. Better than being a fence sitter any day!”

Vivek Agnihotri labeled this as a ‘PR gimmick’, tweeted the poster of Chhapaak and captioned it as, “It’s so sad and disappointing to see that due to the greed of some people, such a delicate issue of women empowerment has been reduced to the subsisted politics of JNU commies.”
