Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala accompanied Katrina Kaif as she flagged off the Standard Chartered Marathon on Sunday at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Yasmin who was training Katirna for running the Dream Run said, “Katrina is an extremely dedicated student and we have over the years designed diverse routines to prepare her for different looks in different films. Even for the marathon, a new routine was required to get her ready for running the distance.”

While Katrina is at her fittest best right now and can take on any challenge, due to a recent injury to her hip flexor her physiotherapist advised her not to run, as it would further aggravate her injury.

Katrina was extremely disappointed as she was looking forward to her first marathon.
