The former starred Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham and the female lead was played by Priyanka Chopra. INPYC&L starred Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Jessica Biel.
Barry Fenaro and Alexander Payne were given the primary writers’ credit for INPYC&L while Tarun Mansukhani and Anvita Dutt Guptan received the same for Dostana. There was hardly any cinematographic difference. However, the chronic difference between the two could be the lesser role of the female lead in INPYC&L compared to that of Dostana where the plot centered quite a lot on Priyanka’s character, Neha Malwani.
