BJP MP Poonam Mahajan has written to the BMC, municipal commissioner Sitaram Kunte on January 29 asking to demolish the ramp in front of the Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat in Bandra (Mumbai). According to reports, Poonam Mahajan has not explicitly mentioned SRK’s name in the complaint. Though she has seeked the help of the BMC to get the issue sorted and the ramp removed.
The residents in Bandstand have been experiencing difficulty. The ramp which is outside the bungalow, which is mostly used to park SRK’s vanity van, is an issue for the people in Bandra since long.
Till date the residents of the area were fighting for these problems alone, however, this is the first time that some politician has raised this issue, after a resident met her and showed her documents that proved that the road belongs to the government and should be handed over to the public for use
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t responded on this issue yet, since the actor is apparently busy shooting for his upcoming movies.
