Who would have ever thought that Kissing on-screen can be difficult for actress Bipasha Basu? Well, we are not saying this the actress herself has made this shocking revelation.
The Alone actress is all set for the premiere of her web-series Dangerous on MX Player today. As we have already seen in the trailer, Bipasha and her hubby Karan Singh Grover have quite a lot of intimate scenes in the series.
According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, the 41-year-old actress spoke about her kissing scenes with Karan and stated that it is easier to kiss on-screen when her husband is the co-star. What came as a surprise for us was when Bipasha Basu said that they won’t be working together for some time because it is unhealthy.
Bipasha and Karan, who met while filming 2015 film Alone, explained how having a spouse for a co-star “works.” The Raaz actor said: “I need my space when I’m working and Karan understands that. Having a spouse for a co-star works because you understand their moods. Also, kissing scenes are easier… I don’t mind lovemaking scenes because you cheat on camera but a lip lock is scary.”
“Karan and I won’t be working together for some time now, except for ads. It’s unhealthy,” she added. Dangerous is Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover’s first project together after they got married not counting their advertisements.
After Alone, Bipasha Basu took kind of took a break as she did not sign any new movie for a long time. On the other hand, Karan Singh Grover’s career kept moving at speed as he was seen in movies like Hate Story 3, 3 Dev along with Ekta Kapoor’s famous show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
Talking about her absence from the big screen Bipasha said, “Last year, during the Diwali parties, my producers and directors lectured me and even Mr Bachchan (actor Amitabh Bachchan) wondered where I’d been, and why I wasn’t acting, looking pointedly at Karan, who explained he wasn’t my boss. I promised him I’d be back soon and last month started reading scripts.”
Well, we are happy that Bipasha is back in the game and we hope to see more of her on-screen now. But what we are little upset about is not seeing the husband and wife pair and their sizzling chemistry on the silver screens.
