In probably the most strategic move, the makers of Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan have taken the most logical decision ever. Both the films have pushed their release dates. However, the clash between the two biggies remains relevant despite the pushed date.
According to the latest reports, both the Eid releases were supposed to be released a day prior to Eid, which was on April 10. But now, both films will be released on April 11, on the occasion of Eid.
According to a report by Komal Nahta, paid previews for both films will be available from the evening of April 10. The changes are visible on various ticket booking websites, including BMS. The decision is being welcomed by everyone in the industry.

However, this decision comes with a set of pros and cons. Even fans have been reacting to the decision, and some are rejoicing over the postponed film; others doubt if it would make any difference.
Might Bring A Good Eid Opening
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan were scheduled to be released on April 10, which was technically a working day. Now that the film has moved to Eid, it comes with the advantage of having a holiday opening, and both films now might bring the biggest Eid Opening on the table!
Not Taking The First Mover Advantage
It might have been great if one of the films had stood by the decided date and taken the first mover advantage, which might have worked in its favor over the weekend with great word of mouth.
Not Taking Advantage Of A Long Weekend
If the two superstars could have sat and talked, then one of them could have used the Gudi Padwa holiday for the film, making it a very useful and productive weekend at the box office. Now that the holiday is wasted, it is surely gonna stuff the Eid Holiday when both films arrive.
Waiting For The Verdict
Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are ready for an epic battle, and it would be very interesting to see who wins this massy vs masala battle with Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan both resting their fates on the same date!
