Television journalist Arnab Goswami has been quite vocal since the past few days following Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise. Recently, he held a panel to discuss the demolition of the unauthorised part from Kangana Ranaut’s office. While on that, referring to Arjun Kapoor’s stint with the BMC back in 2017, he called the Panipat fame ‘a small-time actor’ and claimed that he doesn’t know who Kapoor is.
While Arnab continued questioning the panel about Kangana’s office demolition row, he also stated a few incidents of BMC conduction similar operations. One of the many he listed was that of Kapoor.
Back in 2017, Arjun Kapoor was slammed with a notice by BMC for an unauthorized terrace construction. The area was a makeshift gym that the actor had set in a 30 by 16 sq ft terrace. As per Arnab, it took them a year to demolish it. What the netizens did observe is that, while addressing Arjun, Arnab called him a ‘small-time actor.’
In the viral video clip, Arnab Goswami said, “There is one person called Arjun Kapoor.. I don’t know they say he is a small-time actor, I don’t know who he is”.
However, netizens have had a tough time processing this piece of information. Twitter right now is flooding in with reactions on the same and is trending ever since. While some found it hilarious, many are calling out Arnab Goswami for being his remark about Arjun Kapoor.
