Arjun Kapoor Will Now Be Able To Flaunt His ‘Tevar’

Well, we are talking about Arjun Kapoor’s next film, which is now titled Tevar . Produced by his father, Boney Kapoor, the movie has at last got the title, which the Producers wished for. Aditya Chopra generously granted the Kapoors with the permission to use the title.

When Boney wished to name the film with his son, Tevar, it was brought to his notice that the rights of the title belonged to veteran filmmaker, Late Yash Chopra. Arjun, who debuted under YRF Banner, in Ishaqzaade, expressed the desire to Aditya Chopra. Adi gave it away without much ado though Tevar was one of the favorite title of the late veteran director.

The film is a remake of A Telugu film called Okkadu which will star Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun in lead roles.The film that will be set in Agra will be based on the life of a college goer who will kick off as a Kabbadi Champion. The film will be helmed by debutant director Amit Sharma and is set to go on floors in January 2014.

Arjun for the time being is busy with Gunday and Finding Fanny Fernandes too.
