The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2013 will yet again be one of Bollywood’s most celebrated and star studded event this year. To add on to the fun factor, Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan along with actor Shahid Kapoor will be seen co-hosting the Awards Function.
It was Screen Awards which first got this duo together in 2011. SRK hasn’t hosted IIFA since 2005. Rumors of his apparent rifts and animosities with Amitabh Bachchan prevailed all through, which got pointed out as the reason for him refraining from donning the IIFA platform.
SRK is a hit as a celebrity anchor at shows keeping the audiences entertained with his impulsive wit. Famous for his pairing with Saif Ali Khan and then with Ranbir Kapoor too, Shah Rukh and Shahid can be expected to give the audiences a wonderful time at IIFA this year.
The IIFA show’s venue is Macau this year and this is the second time IIFA is back in the city, first being in 2009. Known to be the industry’s most grand affair, there will be sizzling performances from Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit with mavericks Prabhudeva and Sridevi indulging the people in an enticing dance.
