Can’t anything be done about the strong opposition which Hollywood films are giving Bollywood films every other week?
Of course, plenty can be done – and should be done. For starters, our writers and directors should write and make better films to give Hollywood films tough competition. How’s that?
What do you have to say about UTV stalling their Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, ‘Heroine’, due to her pregnancy?
It’s a call UTV and director Madhur Bhandarkar had to take. What is there to say about that? If the producer and director feel, her pregnancy will come in the way of making the film, don’t they have a right to stall it? I think, it’s the most rational decision anybody could’ve taken. And since they seem to have consulted Aishwarya before taking the decision, it also appears to be well-handled. How can anybody else have a problem when UTV will have to bear the monetary loss?
Will the Neeraj Grover murder case verdict, which was out on 30th June, affect the box-office potential of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Not A Love Story’, which is inspired by that murder case?
Not really because the film is inspired by that murder case, it is not a biopic or an exact recounting of that story.
