Last year we saw the good friends’ duo Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan pitted against each other. Since Republic day serves to be the first national holiday so the Biggies of Bollywood time and again grab the opportunity to come out with films around the national holiday.
2017 began with one of the biggest box office clashes, Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees gave each other a tough run for the money at the box office. However, both films found themselves in a win-win situation.

This Republic Day would witness the clash between the hit director-actor duo Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar. The date 26th January has been a fascinating day for Bollywood. Interestingly we will be witnessing the biggest clashes of the year with the two major films Aiyaary and Padman battling against each other.
Neeraj Pandey is known to make movies like A Wednesday, Special 26, Naam Shabana, Baby, M.S Dhoni, and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Interestingly the subject of all these films revolves around topics serving the national interests.
Neeraj and Akshay have worked together on hit films previously which have achieved a cult status. But this time, Akshay and Neeraj will be at loggerheads at the box office and we can’t wait to see who wins the audience.
