Aamir Khan’s Dangal To Release In USA Before India

Aamir Khan’s Dangal has easily been one of the most awaited films of 2016. The film is based on the story of Indian wrestler, Mahavir Phoghat and his journey in training his daughters to become world class wrestlers and defy the notion that the sport is meant for men only.

Dangal is all set to hit the theaters in India on 23rd December, over the Christmas weekend which has always been a lucky slot for Aamir. But guess what? It’s time for Aamir’s American fans to rejoice.

Interestingly, the film’s USA release is before India. The film is releasing on 21st December in the USA so as to cash in on the holiday season there.

Aamir Khan’s Dangal To Release In USA Before India

The advance bookings for the film have already started in USA. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dear Zindagi too released on Wednesday, to benefit from the Thanksgiving weekend in USA.

For Dangal, this will certainly be a beneficial move considering how big a market USA is for Aamir Khan. The actor has a huge fan following there and with this move, we can expect some big numbers ringing from the overseas circuits.
