As Bollywood has evolved over the decades, so have its ‘bad men’. In the years gone by, the stereotypical villain used to be a smuggler who masqueraded as a rich industrialist; or a rugged, unshaven and wild dacoit, but, today, he is a handsome hunk driving around in his cool SUV.

His intentions, however, remain the same – bad. Koimoi looks at the villains who made their presence felt in the year gone by:

Ronit Roy played a well-known politician in Kaabil. A crooked, arrogant and thuggish political figure, Ronit was at his best, as always. He is one of the best villains of all time and deserves a place in our nominations for best Villain 2017, undoubtedly.
